PIK Mall
March 2014

The PIK Mall is part of a 600-hectare mixed use development at Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta that combines the complementary uses of retail, entertainment and hospitality on a 5-level retail podium and two (2), 14-storey hotels of different grades- Novotel and IBIS Styles.
The architecture of the PIK Mall is a shift from the conventional "boxy" malls of the past. The main feature consists of three (3) curved-shaped building blocks, ribbed with extruded aluminum bands against glass wall. These blocks are connected by overhead walkways that extend through the five (5) levels Entrances are positioned between the blocks which open to clusters of restaurants and shops built around an interior landscaped garden.
The roof skylight combined with a light tent-roof structure allows natural light to stream through creating an airy, open and relaxing atmosphere. The atria extend to the upper floors lined with retail shops, anchor stores, restaurants, a food court, cinemas, and hotel amenities - presenting mall-goers and shoppers a unique leisure experience.
