The Sampoerna Strategic Group, one of Indonesia's private-led investment companies, undertakes a timely expansion of its existing Sampoerna Strategic Square located at Jl. Jendral Sudirman corner Jl. Prof. Dr. Satrio in Jakarta's CBD. An iconic landmark, two elegantly-designed high-rise towers of 63-storeys and 36-storeys will complement the current 32-storey north and south towers, commanding a stronger presence and a defined corporate identity recognizable across Jakarta's skyline. PTI Architects, in collaboration with RSP Singapore, brings the vision to reality in 2020.

The towers' site planning is oriented towards a central axis with a grand approach from Jl Satrio towards the familiar glass-domed and classic arcaded entrances to the old and the new towers. Underground links to the proposed monorail line on Jl. Satrio and the MRT line on Sudirman provide accessibility to the wider public while sky bridges on the 4^th floor and 23^rd floor of the new towers connect to the north tower.

Designed in consideration of proportion, scale, use and architecture of the existing twin towers, the high-rise towers adopt a similar plan configuration, a grand and classic form and materiality of stone cladding and glass to achieve an integrated development. Local references to the Borobudur and Prambanan Temple provide the inspiration for the stepped and tapering 63-storey tower crowned with a domed roof, bearing a strong semblance to the main entrance lobby roof on the ground level.

The high-rise towers will comprise of an estimated 150,000 square-meter grade A premium office and exclusive residential and hotel floor spaces complemented by premier indoor amenities which will include sky lobbies and restaurants on the high zone floors, an exclusive club and residential club on the mid-zone floors and retail space and restaurants on the 6-level podium connecting both towers. The towers will also be supported by the latest energy efficient and advanced building services, security, fire and life safety and building management systems.
