Alfa Mart, one of Indonesia’s pioneers in modern retailing has commissioned PTI Architects’ Special Projects Division, led by Stephen Stinton, to design its Twin Tower Corporate Headquarters.

This office project comprises of a 30-level tower and a 27-level tower with support uses: including food and beverage outlets, retail spaces, ballroom, corporate meeting rooms, a connecting basement and podium parking and executive floors and owners apartments on the top floors. The total GFA of 110,888 sqm, is built on a site area of 19,500 sqm at Alam Sutera,Tangerang.

ALFA Mart’s corporate headquarters will occupy 15 floors of the first tower while the remaining floors are intended for international, regional and multi-national companies (MNCs) that require a high quality office environment with maximum efficiency and flexibility, column-free office floor plates combined with top grade building services.

The two phase development is accessed from Jl. Jalur Sutera Barat into a central landscaped space, the curved-shaped towers bear a strong inward orientation defining the oval and establish symmetry in the development; one tower mirroring the other in its configuration and façade treatment.

Predominantly clad in high efficiency double glazed glass, the verticality of the ESD Gold rated tower design is accentuated by vertical solid paneling planes that seemingly slice the building in four segments on its gables and visually lengthen the apparent towers height.

The over-all design represents the values that ALFA Mart adheres to stability, strength, and integrity.
